Moving In

Welcome! We are so excited you have chose Purcell Capital. It's our goal to make you feel at home by providing a comfortable living environment. On this page you will be able to find answers to many questions you may have as we strive to make your transition as easy and enjoyable as possible!

You have now signed your lease!! Congratulations. Its now time to grab your keys. One of our team members will leave them on the counter for you with the door unlocked. You are welcome to go in and get them.

Time to Look around! You are responsible for inspecting your Apartment/House. If you notice any issues please notify us by email (Katie@purcellcapitalgroup.com) or in writing. If you choose to notify us in writing please mail to PO Box 1272 Salem, IL 62881 or Drop off in person to our office 423 S. Broadway Salem, IL 62881. Your notice must be turned in within one week of moving in.

Don't forget utilities! It's now time to put utilities in your name. We do ask that this is done immediately before moved into your home. Please find your location below to access your list of providers.

WATERLOO

* Everything is through the City of Waterloo. Visit the Waterloo City Hall to place all utilities into your name.

WASHINGTON SCHOOL

* Water, Sewer, and Trash are included. The dumpster is towards the back of the building, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

* Contact Ameren to place Electric and Gas in your name.

* Laundry Rooms are on site, please contact us for your personal laundry code that will give you access into the laundry room.

OAK PARK

* Water, Sewer, and Trash are included. The dumpster is towards the back of the building, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

* Contact Ameren to place Electric in your name.

* You will need to go in person with a copy of your lease to the City of Salem where you will be able to place gas in your name.

BROADWAY APARTMENTS

*Trash and Water are included make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

* Contact Ameren to put Electric in your name

* You will need to go in person with a copy of your lease to the City of Salem where you will be able to place gas in your name.

LINCOLN APARTMENTS

* Trash is included, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

* You will need to go in person with a copy of your lease to the City of Salem where you will be able to place gas and water in your name.

* Contact Ameren to put Electric in your name

SOUTHERN GARDENS

*Trash is included, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

*You will need to go in person with a copy of your lease to the City of Salem where you will be able to place gas and water in your name.

* Contact Tri-County Electric to place power in your name

VILLAS @FIVE15

* Water, Gas, Sewer, Trash are included. Make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

* Contact Ameren for Electricity

RENTAL HOMES

*Water, Trash, Sewer, Gas are with the City of Salem. You will need to bring a copy of your lease when placing utilities into your name.

*Ameren for electric

Change your mailing address! This is changed through the United States Postal Service. In person or on their website.

AIRPORT APARTMENTS

* Contact Ameren to place Electric in your name.

*Trash is included, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

*You will need to go in person with a copy of your lease to the City of Salem where you will be able to place water in your name.

COTTONWOOD

*Trash is included, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

*You will need to go in person with a copy of your lease to the City of Salem where you will be able to place water in your name.

* Contact Tri-County Electric to place power in your name

* When renting one of the Duplexes at Cottonwood you will also need to place gas in your name with Liberty Utilities

SHERWOOD SALEM

*Trash is included, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

*You will need to go in person with a copy of your lease to the City of Salem where you will be able to place water in your name.

* Contact Tri-County Electric to place power in your name

SHERWOOD SANDOVAL

* Contact Ameren to place Electric in your name.

*Trash is included, make sure all trash is placed into dumpster. Do not dispose of any large items outside of dumpster as they will not pick those up.

*Please visit the Village of Sandoval to place water into your name.
